Why therapy?

Deciding to start therapy can be huge decision. It takes courage. Going into your problems may be the last thing you want to do. You may think therapy is only for people with serious mental health issues or that starting therapy means you are weak and  that you should "just get on with it".

Apart from being a scientifically proven way to improve your life and your wellbeing, therapy really should be seen as a temporary investment in yourself. The issue here is not that you are broken or not clever or capable enough to deal with your current situation. The issue is that it is extremely difficult to make big changes alone. Human beings are social creatures and we need others to support and validate us.

It may not be narcissistic abuse after all but this is not a problem as I am qualified to deal with a whole range of issues.

Therapy is not like medical treatment in that we are not looking for a cure for an illness. Rather therapy is so empowering because it gives you the space to explore your feelings, experiences and gain insight into your situation. This opens up new possibilities and ways of being that align with your true self.  All this is done in a confidential and safe space.

Get in touch. Living with narcissistic abuse is extremely destructive for your mental health and often your physical health too. You deserve peace and happiness.
